Sixth Street Bistro has been a local favorite since opening in 1992, during a tourism boom brought on by the increasing popularity of windsurfing on the Columbia River. Today people come from all over to experience what Hood River and the surrounding area has to offer including a variety of wind and water sports, hiking, and biking in the summer and skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing in the winter. Long an agricultural center of the Pacific Northwest, many come to experience the bounty of the many orchards in the area. Hood River has also seen tremendous growth in the wine, craft beer and cider scene over the years. We are proud to be able to offer many local options on our menu.
